BIO:
Andy Atencio is the Chief Technology Officer for the City of Greenwood Village, Colorado. Andy has over 18 years experience in the IT industry, seven years experience with IT Service Management, and currently holds the Foundation Level certification in ITIL. In addition, he has a Masters of Psychology in Organizational and Industrial Behavior.
Andy has presented at previous itSMF USA conferences (Long Beach - 2004, Washington DC - 2004, and Charlotte - 2007), participated as a track chair for the itSMF USA conference (Chicago - 2005 and Salt Lake City - 2006), has presented at several USA LIG events (Denver, Colorado; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Phoenix, Arizona), as well as other IT industry events in and around Colorado.
Andy contributed to IT Service Management articles in Federal Computer Weekly, on ITSMWatch.com, was a contributing editor for the "ITIL Small-scale Implementation" book published in 2006 by OGC and was a public reviewer for the ITIL V3 Service Transition book. Andy is currently the Program Chair for the Rocky Mountain LIG based in Denver, Colorado and is the 2008 itSMF USA Fusion08 Program Chair. |
